Privacy Notice
Last updated March 15, 2026. This notice explains what xVault AI collects, why it is collected, and how it is used in the current early-access product.
What we collect
- Account identifiers returned by X during sign-in, such as your X user ID, handle, display name, and profile image.
- Your bookmark library and related metadata needed to organize, search, and display that library inside xVault AI.
- Workspace, billing, and settings data needed to operate the service, including plan tier and sync preferences.
- Generated summaries, categories, embeddings, and other enrichment outputs created from your saved posts.
How your data is used
- To authenticate you and connect your X account.
- To sync, index, and organize your bookmarks inside your workspace.
- To provide AI features such as summaries, categorization, chat, content generation, and semantic retrieval.
- To operate billing, enforce plan limits, diagnose issues, and keep the service reliable.
Third-party processors
xVault AI relies on third-party providers to run the service, including X for OAuth and bookmark access, model providers for AI and embeddings, hosting and database infrastructure, Redis for queue and cache work, and Stripe for paid billing. Those providers process only the data needed to deliver their part of the service.
Storage and retention
We store the data needed to provide your workspace until you delete your account or request deletion. Some operational logs and billing records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, and compliance reasons.
Your choices
- You can disconnect X access through your X account settings.
- You can change plan and sync settings from inside the product when signed in.
- You can request deletion of your account and stored workspace data.
